      <title>No Pennies?  No Problem!</title>

      <description>&lt;div style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;div&gt;With the United States no longer minting new pennies, many retailers are having trouble obtaining sufficient pennies to provide change and are rounding cash transactions to the nearest available denomination (typically $0.05). To support this change, Atrex includes a Cash Rounding feature that ensures cash-only transactions are handled accurately and consistently.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How to Enable Cash Rounding&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;From the main window, select "Options - Company Information / Customization - Company Information and Settings".&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Select the Defaults tab.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Locate the Round Cash option.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Set the drop-down value to Rounded and then choose the rounding increment you want to apply (for example, $0.05).&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Click the OK button to save your changes.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;div&gt;Once enabled, the setting takes effect immediately for new cash transactions.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;When Cash Rounding Applies&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Cash rounding is &lt;strong&gt;only&lt;/strong&gt; applied when all of the following are true:&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Cash rounding is enabled in Company Settings&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The transaction is paid entirely in cash&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The transaction total includes a value that requires rounding based on your selected increment&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Applies to Atrex 14+&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;div style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;The Ingenio Desk/5000 is a semi-integrated device for use with CardKnox for Canadian card processing from within Atrex. &amp;nbsp; This KB article will go over the specific device settings required to configure the physical device for use with Atrex.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;IP Address:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; In order to communicate with the device, you must know the IP address of the device. &amp;nbsp; When first powered on and connected to the network, the device will automatically obtain a dynamic IP address and keep the assigned address for as long as it is powered on and maintains the connection to the router. &amp;nbsp;If the power to the device interrupted or the device is disconnected from the network, the IP address may change resulting in the inability to connect to the device. &amp;nbsp;As such, it is best to assign the device a static IP address that will not change.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Press the # key on the keypad.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Setup Menu&amp;quot; menu selection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Communications&amp;quot; menu selection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Ethernet&amp;quot; menu selection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Current Setup&amp;quot; menu selection.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Make note of the IP Address, Gateway IP, Subnet Mask, and the Pri DNS entries. &amp;nbsp; If the IP address shows 0.0.0.0, it has not yet been assigned an IP address. &amp;nbsp;In this scenario, cancel out of the display, wait 30 seconds and display the settings again. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Press the red &amp;quot;x&amp;quot; button to return to the Ethernet menu.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Ethernet Setup&amp;quot; menu selection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select &amp;quot;Static IP&amp;quot; and press Enter.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Enter an IP address for the device that uses the same first 3 segments of the dynamic IP address followed by a number that is outside of the dynamically assigned range. &amp;nbsp;Numbers above 200 tend to be available. &amp;nbsp;If the IP address you noted in step 6 was 192.168.1.100, enter 192.168.1.201 for the first device, 192.168.1.202 for the second device, etc.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;The device will usually automatically set the GatewayIP, IPSubMask, and PriDNSIP fields for you. &amp;nbsp;If they are not set, use the &lt;span id="isPasted" style="color: rgb(65, 65, 65); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; display: inline !important; float: none;"&gt;Gateway IP, Subnet Mask, and the Pri DNS entries&lt;/span&gt; values that you noted in step 6 for these fields.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Press the green Enter button on the keypad to save the settings.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Current Setup&amp;quot; menu selection and verify that the IP address that you assigned the device is now the current IP Address. &amp;nbsp;If it is NOT, the IP address you assigned the device is not available and you will need to designate a different IP address.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;div&gt;If your network configuration changes significantly preventing connectivity to the device, you may need to reset the device to a dynamic IP address, wait about 60 seconds, and then reconfigure the device for a static IP address.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Important:&lt;/strong&gt; Please note that the Lane 5000 device is updated periodically from the back end processor, which will reset the device back to a Dynamic IP address. &amp;nbsp; Once you have configured the device for a static IP address, you will need to contact CardKnox and inform them of the assigned IP address information along with the injected serial number for each device you have so that they can have the back end configuration file updated to make sure that the device is always accessible. &amp;nbsp; You can file the Injected serial number for the device using the following steps:&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted"&gt;Press the [#] key&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Press [7] for Terminal Info&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Press [1] Terminal Info and scroll down to injected serial number.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Load:&lt;/strong&gt; The device initially ships without a device specific EMV encryption key, which needs to be set prior to processing transactions. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Press the # key on the keypad.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Host Management&amp;quot; menu selection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;EMV Public Key Load&amp;quot; menu selection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li id="isPasted" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;EMV Public Key Load&amp;quot; menu selection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;div&gt;The device will immediately begin downloading they key.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div id="isPasted"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Enable Card Present Split Payments:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; The Desk/5000 has an option to ensure that the same transaction number cannot be used multiple times to prevent duplicate charges. &amp;nbsp;You must disable this functionality to allow splitting a transaction across multiple cards. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Press the # key on the keypad.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Setup Menu&amp;quot; menu selection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Trans Options&amp;quot; menu selection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Select the &amp;quot;Prompts&amp;quot;
