ICVerify EMV and PCI Compliance

If you process credit cards from inside Atrex using ICVerify the following questions are designed to help you determine how the US EMV change might affect you.
 
Do you process card present transactions (swipe physical cards)?
 
No, my company never processes card present transactions.
 
EMV doesn’t apply to you.  However PCI Compliance and credit card data security does 
 
Also, if you haven’t yet been notified by First Data that they are discontinuing development and support of ICVerify you can read their end-of-life statement here.
 
Atrex 13 was the last version of Atrex to support ICVerify.  Should you choose to you can continue to use ICVerify with your current version of Atrex until you run into a problem with ICVerify or Atrex that can’t be resolved or until your merchant ceases support for ICVerify.
 
Other options:
 
  • Upgrade to Atrex 20 in order to obtain the newest security features and switch to Worldpay for your card processing.
  • Process credit cards outside of Atrex.  Contact your merchant processor for information on obtaining external credit card processing terminals.
