DBISAM Error 11283, "A connection to the database server at '<RemoteName>' cannot be established, "the client address is blocked"
This error occurs when the database engine attempts to connect to a database server and the connection fails because the IP address of the workstation the application is running on has been blocked in the server configuration.
Check the settings in the Atrex Database Server Administrator appliction to ensure that the IP address of the client workstation is in the allowed list of addresses and not in the list of blocked addresses.
Please note that this error has been known to be displayed if the database server configuration file is corrupted. If you receive this error when attempting to connect with the Atrex Database Server Administrator from the system that the database server engine is running, that the server configuration file is most likely corrupted. To resolve this situation, you will need to manually delete the dbsrvr.scf file from the database server engine directory and then reconfigure your database server installation.
