CREDIT CARD PROCCESING
Question asked by Keith - 6/17/2021 at 5:29 PM

So the only credit card processing service is "world pay" that works with the integration?  No other provider can use the configuration?  Being charged 3.2% for ALL transactions.  Where debit is .058% you're still charging 3.2%.  Take it the only option is a standalone system?

At this time that is correct, WorldPay is the only processor we directly integrate with.

It sounds like debit transactions are being processed as credit transactions.  We don't have any control over the coding of how the devices work, but I'll reach out to WorldPay and see if there is something that needs to be modified on their end.

Reached out to worldpay, they REFUSE to write a new contract.  Forced to use a product at a overpriced rate.  Otherwise a standalone system.  Sure I'm the only one asking or pointing the obvious lack of choice, mandate.

It's not a contract issue, but rather how NETePay is handling the transactions in conjunction with the device.  I discussed this with Worldpay support a little bit ago and they have initiated a request to get a new deployment for the latest version of NETePay that will hopefully resolve the issue.   I expect to have that sometime Mon or Tues and will contact you shortly after I receive the new setup information to get it in place for you.

Received the configuration but it doesn't look correct.  Making sure that things are set up correctly before implementation to try and head off any issues.

See why you left it to me.  Called another three times today.  All the techs put me on hold and never came back to the phone.  Monday I'm dumping your integration and going to a stand alone system.  At least for now I have a tech who want to get the set up done.

I was able to talk to a support tech late this afternoon.  The actual cause of the issue at this point with the hosted checkout password and why it took so long with each tech is that the MercuryView portal is being deprecated and all of the password generation now is through the IQ account.

So, at this point, you definitely have the option to move to a non-integrated solution.  The other option, which I can't help with is to have Worldpay support get you into your IQ account and you can generate the password from there.  And if you don't need to add cards to customer accounts, then the password issue is mute as that's the only reason you need that password.

Customer cards stored works fine.  As far as credit card processors, don't understand why they need to lie to sell their services.  The company set up a lease when I told them I didn't want one.  Sticking to your world pay people, but every statement gets me to ask why.   Anyway THANKS for the help.
