Andreas,

The Stock Code Image Import function is designed to maintain a single image for a large number of stock codes.  To add multiple images to a stock code, you must edit the stock code and from the Images tab, click Add, then select all the images you want to add.

PS  If you are needing to add multiple images to many stock codes, import each image into a unique stock code, then using the Batch Rename/Merge/Delete function, load a list that merges the newly added stock codes into the one you want to remain.

Thanks Mark for your reply. I have thousands of stock codes, and i want to import a single image to each stock code. Is it possible not to do it one by one? I have an excel file with all stock codes and their image name with directories.

I believe that importing of images was added in Atrex 13 or 14. Version 12 is limited to manual insertion only.

Andreas,

Sorry, some how I overlooked the fact that your question is for Atrex 12. All the necessary functionality has been added since that time so your only option is a manual one-by-one process.

The ability to add images in the way I explained have all been in response to user requests. Another good reason to stay current with Atrex.

Is it a good idea to export all invevtory codes from version 12 and import them with their images in fresh installed version 14, and then export from 14 and import to 12? Does this works? Or copy/paste the codes File?

That will not work. If you want to do an automated import for the Atrex images, you will need to get to a current version. There just isn't any way to do it in version 12.

Thanks Terry. I think is not cost effective for the time to upgrade to current version since i have a 5-user licence. We'll see in the future!
