The quick answer is yes, we have had others inquire about capabilities like this.  The reality of it came down to it being technically feasible, but not practical as out of the box functionality.  With each vendor having it's own API we would basically end up doing a completely separate integration with each and every vendor to get it functioning and  after that we would need to potentially do ongoing maintenance to keep each integration up to date as the vendors make changes to the APIs.

We could potentially do a couple as custom projects getting them to work exactly as you want them, but I wouldn't expect this to be a general build in function of the package anytime soon.
