You can view a single customers current account balance via the "Accounts - Receivables - Customer Balance" function. The account balances for multiple customers can be viewed using the "Reports - Receivables - Balance" report.

Also under the "Reports - Receivables" menu you can view the AR outstanding transactions as well as the account history for customers.

As the account balance is based upon transaction balances and payments to the account, you can't directly edit the account balance. If you need to change the balance of a customer account, you can add manual charges or credits to the customer account via the "Accounts - Receivables" menu.
